The Richard C. Malmsten Memorial Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who have applied for and been admitted to a Master´s programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law and are required to pay a tuition fee for education in Sweden.

Application period

1 November 2016 – 1 February 2017.

Scholarship coverage

The scholarship covers part of the tuition fee, specifically 180 000 SEK over a period of two years.

Who can apply?

Students who have applied for and been admitted to a Master´s programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law (SBEL)  and are required to pay a tuition fee for education in Sweden. See information about the business programmes at www.handels.gu.se/master

Selection of students

The selection of students will primarily be based on GMAT results or GRE General Test scores, sent to the School of Business, Economics and Law. If there are still scholarships available, students without GMAT or GRE General Test scores can be selected in a second step. This selection round will be based on number of higher education credits obtained at the Bachelor's level (maximum 225).

Students who have been offered any of the scholarships from the Swedish Institute or the study scholarships offered by the University of Gothenburg, will not be eligible for the Richard C. Malmsten Memorial Foundation Scholarship. The selection of students for the scholarship is made by the SBEL selection committee and cannot be appealed.

How to apply

Apply by registering your contact information and GMAT/GRE General Test score in this electronic application form. The selection of students will be finalized at the end of April.

Note! You are not required to send in any documents besides the GMAT/GRE test results (submitted by your test centre or test organisation directly to the School of Business, Economics and Law).

Conditions

The scholarship is available to students who have accepted an admission offer for a Master’s programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law starting in September 2017 and ending in June 2019.
