This course provides you with solid knowledge relating to airborne particles, the aerosols. Aerosols affect our daily lives in many ways, from their influence on global warming to the quality of the air we breathe. Aerosols are increasingly important to society and industry, and crucial to emerging technologies such as nanoparticle production. The course covers basic properties of aerosols, environmental effects, current measurements techniques, and industrial applications.
Requirements: The admission requirement is passed degree in 45 hec within chemistry or equivalent education.
Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credit points from previous university studies, maximum 225 hec.
