The aim of the course is for you to develop a basic understanding of the linguistic structure of one of the African language families, or an African language. The focus is mainly on the study and analysis of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.
Kursen syftar till att du skall utveckla en grundläggande förståelse för språkstrukturen hos en av de afrikanska språkfamiljerna, alternativt ett afrikanskt språk. Fokus ligger främst på studium och analys av fonetik, fonologi, morfologi,syntax och semantik.
Om utbildningen
The aim of the course is for you to develop a basic understanding of the linguistic structure of one of the African language families, or an African language. The focus is mainly on the study and analysis of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. The knowledge is acquired through lectures and the reading of relevant simple scholarly articles. You will also acquire a basic linguistic conceptual apparatus.
