Om kursen

The aim of this course is to provide a thorough understanding of the complex process of creating a single internal market within the European Union. The course addresses the problems of integrating different national market systems into one single market. You will analyze the interplay between formal legal restrictions, economical functions of the single market and the political policy-making process. Other themes are the internal market's consequences for manufacturing and services, life-conditions, labour markets, capital flows and infrastructural development in Europe and its neighbouring countries. Behörighet och urval

Förkunskapskrav: Minimum of 90 credits in a social science discipline. Students at the Law programme are also eligible to apply, after three years (180 credits, equivalent of a bachelor's degree). Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.

Urval: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits. Priority will be given to those with a least 60 credits in European Studies.
