About the Course

After completing the course, the students will have a deeper theoretical and experimental familiarity with important reactions, mechanisms and reagents. Furthermore, the course aims at providing basic knowledge in and a broad understanding of medicinal chemistry and pharmacological principles from a molecular perspective. The student should also possess knowledge about how chemists, pharmacist, biologists as well as medical doctors successfully work together to develop drugs.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: The students must have studied KEM815 and passed the small tests within this course. The practical laboratory part must also be passed. Students with equal qualifications can be admitted.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 19 401 SEK
First payment: 19 401 SEK
