Industrial Heritage: Use and Re-use

About the Course

The concept of industrial heritage is the basis for this course which studies the development of the professional field that during the later part of the 20th century to a growing degree is engaged in documentation, preservation and adaptation of this heritage. Of specific interest are questions related to theories and processes for heritage production, strategies for preservation, restoration and adaptation, and discussions on heritage values and their applicability in a societal context.
