The course is not given as a stand-alone course this academic year, but can be included in the program/course package. For information contact the department.

About the Course

There is a trend in software development to use more lightweight methods and practices that focus on humans and their interactions. This course teaches these agile software development methods and practices based on key principles such as: * Incremental and iterative development * Embrace and plan for change * Continuous, feedback-driven refinement The course is based on an agile project that covers the two most used agile methodologies (eXtreme Programming (XP) and Scrum) as well as key practices such as test-driven development and incremental planning. An important part of the course is to understand the trade-offs between plan-driven and agile methodologies and how to select between them depending on the context.
