About the Course

This course is a version of BIO335 (Applied Project in Molecular Biology) that is open for international (english speaking) students. In the applied project you perform under supervision a scientifically structured investigation or an application of previously gained knowledge in the biological field.

If you are interested in doing an internship in one of the research groups in molecular biology at the University of Gothenburg you need to take the following steps.

  1. Apply for this course and send documents that prove that you are eligible (Documents needed)
  2. Communicate directly with a researcher and decide what project you should do. You find more information about this on: Research in molecular biology.
  3. Inform the course leader for the Applied project about your project and get an approval from her or him so that you can be registered on the course.

BIO337

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: University studies of a minimum of 75 credits in Biology and Molecular Biology/Cellbiology with at least one in depth course of 15 credits in a relevant area. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.
