About the Course

Get to know marine organisms! You will learn how to identify sea-living animals and plants, both macroscopical and microscopical ones, and you will learn where they live (in the free water, on rocky bottoms, in soft bottoms, etc.). You will also get accustomed to literature for identifying marine organisms. The course is given at the Sven Lovén Centre for Marine Sciences at Tjärnö near Strömstad. The university provides free accommodation at the field station during the course (students pay only for food, and travel to and from station). Please find information about this course here.
