About the Course

This course is for students who are interested in the empirical methods applied to the field of software engineering. The course introduces quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods in software engineering. The course contains: 1. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods applied to software engineering 2. Qualitative methods in software engineering 3. Methods required to practice evidence-based software engineering

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies.

Tuition Fee

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 17 587 SEK
First payment: 17 587 SEK
