About the Course

In the Examination course, you do an independent work under the guidance of one of our teachers. During the course, you get both general guidance together with your classmates and individual supervision during the work. You present your thesis, both in a written report and orally at a seminar. The examination is based on participation in the literature course, the report and the seminar. You can also choose to perform graduate work in environmental science with emphasis in one of the following areas:

- Earth Sciences (ES2504), 30 hec

- Chemistry (ES2505), 30 hec

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: A Bachelor of Science (biology, chemistry, earth science, environmental science-natural science, physics) or equivalent, and at least 30 credits within environmental science-natural science out of which at least 15 credits are at advanced level. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 59 500 SEK
First payment: 59 500 SEK
