About the Course

As a professional Earth Scientist, you need practical experience in unfamiliar geological settings. You must independently be able to interpret and discuss geological and natural geographic variations with regard to general principles and by combining knowledge from . The course consists of an excursion of one to three weeks and project work. Field work and surveys are adapted to current issues in the excursion area. The project work is completed with a written and oral presentation of the tasks performed. The course has extra costs for the individual student.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: 120 credits within the area of earth science, with a profile in geology or physical geography.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Tuition Fee

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 21 500 SEK
First payment: 21 500 SEK

This course is part of the Earth Science master's program, but can be taken as an elective course or as an exchange student.
