About the Course

The course includes: 

  • Field-trip (excursion) to Bornholm. On the island of Bornholm, we examine and investigate coastal outcrops of sedimentary rocks from the mesozoic and paleozoic, as well as observe modern sedimentological processes along the coast and in rivers. We are in the field all days of that week.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: For admission to the course, at least 90 credits in the main field of Earth Sciences is required. Students with equivalent education can, after review and approval, be given access to the course.  For students admitted to N1MAV Marine Science, Bachelor's Programme, at least 60 credits are required in the main field of Marine Sciences and admitted to the course GV2001 Regional environmental Eart Science. 

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 14 875 SEK
First payment: 14 875 SEK
