About the Course

The course gives knowledge of the theoretical backgrounds of geophysical methods and their interpretation theories. The course covers seismic, gravity, magnetism, electricity and electromagnetism. After completing the course, the student should have knowledge of geophysical applications in geology, environment, water and exploration for raw materials.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: 90 credits in the main field of Earth Sciences is required, of which 75 % of the courses must have the grade at least Pass. Student with an equivalent education may be given admission to the programme after examination.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 10 502 SEK
First payment: 10 502 SEK
