About the Course

This course focuses on the scientific methods and approaches used in investigations of ores and ore-forming processes. The students themselves design, carry out, analyze and present scientific studies on ore deposits, in order to gain understanding of mineralizing processes. The course is preparatory for further research studies or for project management in mineral exploration.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: 165 credits completed courses in earth science, including GVG430 (Economical geology) 7,5 credits or equivalent education.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Tuition Fee

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 14 550 SEK
First payment: 14 550 SEK
