About the Course

The course aims to give basic knowledge of the Earth System focusing on the atmosphere and terrestrial biosphere as well as their interactions. We will go through composition, properties and active processes in the atmosphere. In addition, the course aim to give a comprehensive introduction to environmental problems associated to atmospheric science, as well as an overview of historical climate changes.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: 60 ECTS credits in Earth Sciences alternatively, university studies of 180 credits in Science. Students with equivalent education can be allowed to enter the course.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 14 550 SEK
First payment: 14 550 SEK
