Marine Sciences: Applied Project (Internship)

About the Course

This project course (Internship), is open to international (English speaking) students. During the Internship the student will, under supervision, preform a scientifically structured experimental or theoretical work in the field of marine sciences.

As a student, you have the responsibility to contact the researcher/supervisor before being accepted to the course. Choice of project assignment, as well as start and stop dates, are decided in a discussion with the supervisor.

If you are interested in doing an internship in one of the research groups at the Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg, you need to take the following steps:

  • Apply for this course and send documents proving your eligibility (Documents needed). Do not forget to submit upper secondary (high school) studies.
  • Communicate directly with a researcher to decide which project you may be able to attend. You find more information about the different research areas on: Marine sciences research.
  • Inform the student counselor about your project to get information on further steps needed to be registered.
