Interpretation in Opera 1

About the Course

This course is for you who have an Opera Bachelor or an equivalent opera education and who want to work further with vocal tecnique, interpretation, stage performance and opera repertoire.

You make an entrance test for this course with an audition for a jury where you sing 1-2 arias of your own choice.

The course contents individual singing- and interpretation lessons every week where you work on the repertoire you have choosen for the course. You also have individual lessons lead by a director, master classes and group lessons in movement and language skills. Occasionally there are opportunities to placements at an Opera House in Sweden.
Your course is examined with a public concert or opera performance.
The course is supervised by professors and teachers at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg.

Audition for the course that starts spring semester 2019 is set to 21 November.
