The course will provide you with understanding of how various sociodemografic factors influence health and disease in a global perspective. You will have increased knowledge on how the disease panorama looks in different parts of the world. After the course you can also explain how these differences can be explained by factors such as poverty, work conditions, gender.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or professional qualification corresponding to at least 180 credits or the equivalent. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL, IELTS.
Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.
