About the Course

Topics include quality-adjusted survival analysis, analyzing skewed cost, effectiveness, and outcomes data, bootstrapping, etc.

The second part of the course will cover decision analytic modeling, including topics such as decision trees, Markov models, deterministic and probabilistic models, value of information analyses. The second part of the course will also cover methods and topics related to health technology assessments (HTA) and the role of economic evaluation in HTA.

The third part of the course will be to plan and design of a thesis proposal with a public health decision problem where an economic evaluation can answer the problem.
