About the Course

The course is an independent course of 30 higher education credits, provided in collaboration with the orchestra master's programme.
The course contents are orchestra playing, chamber music and individual tuition. This is a one semester full-time course and it is aimed, among other things, to prepare for the MA programme in Symphonic Orchestra Performance.

This is the first course out of two on this level.
There are two application periods for this course every year.

Your application must contain a video recording with repertoire from 3 different epoches that shows the level of instrument-, artistic- and musical skills. See further information under "Selection". Be sure to apply on www.universityadmissions.se before the last application day and to send in your material at latest the same date.
