About the Course

Are you curious to deepen and expand within issues of norm-critical / feminist performance design?

The course Perspective on Performativity and Feminist Artistic Practice is aimed for artists in performative arts, such as actors, performance-art artists, live-art artists, dancers, musicians, opera singers and musical artists, who wish to immerse themselves in norm-critical / feminist perspectives. The course provides a theoretical framework for norm critical / feminist performance-design and performativity in contemporary perspectives and opportunities for further research. The course deals with how norms and power systems are constructed and manifested in society at large and in scenic artistic practice.

Included in the course is the students continuously part-presentations of their own process around their conceptual ideas, participates in discussions and workshops and to carry out a performative presentation and a reflective written task.

Requirements and Selection

Selection: Selection is based on documented artistic skills (CV) and ;a personal letter motivating why you want to take the course, which should be enclosed to the application. The applicants will be ranked by the teacher s overall assessment of the applicants competence. The application is not complete without the above stated documentation

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 66 375 SEK
First payment: 66 375 SEK
