About the Course

In this course you will learn about different types of remote sensing data such as various satellite imagery and LIDAR data, as well as their application in geoscientific context, for example the calculation of vegetation indices and the identification of landforms. You will work with different software packages, one of them GIS, used for handling, analysis and interpretation of remote sensing data products.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: 7.5 credits GIS and 45 credits earth science, geography or similar.

Selection: Selection is based upon the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 225 credits.

Full course cost: 10 502 SEK
First payment: 10 502 SEK
