About the Course

This distance course with some meetings is designed for teachers and teacher training students who wish to probe into global issues like development, globalization and cultural identity. The importance of education in a rapidly transforming world is analyzed, and so are concepts like inequality, human rights and clashing cultures. Pedagogical planning and implementation is integrated throughout the course.

Requirements and Selection

Requirements: General entrance requirements for university studies and the Swedish upper secondary course English B/English 6 or equivalent.

Selection: Selection is based upon average grade from upper secondary school (34 %), the number of credits from previous university studies (33 %) and Högskoleprovet - Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (33 %)

Tuition Fee

Application fee: 900 SEK
Full course cost: 10 502 SEK
First payment: 10 502 SEK

EU/EEA citizens, Swedish residence permit holders and exchange students do not pay fees. More information on: http://www.universityadmissions.se
