About the Course

The course treats quantitative and qualitative methods in linguistic research with the emphasis on intercultural communication. In the quantitative part, the focus is on corpus data and corpus analysis, while qualitative methods such as linguistic ethnography, research interviews, narrative analysis as well as multi-modal analysis are applied to discourse-analytical and pragmatic issues.
