About the Programme

The field of contemporary experimental music and sound art is constantly growing. The newly revised international programme for Experimental Composition and Creation mirrors this process and looks for creators who have a curiosity for interdisciplinary situations, with a master programme tailored for your personal artistic development. If you are active as a composer or performer within instrumental/vocal music, sound art, performance art, sound installation, electronic music, free improvised music or areas neighbouring these fields, we invite you to send us your application. Your application consists of a description of an explorative project that continues through the entire programme. During this time, you examine new perspectives and challenge your practices through encounters with your fellow students, your supervisor and our guest teachers who are experts from the music field and other art forms.
