They can answer questions about, for example, credit transfers, courses within programmes, or the job market following a specific course or programme.

At the University of Gothenburg, all study counsellors offer general guidance as well as guidance within their own subject area. If your goals change during the process, the study counsellor can guide you to the right subject area.   • Business, administration and economics

    What can I study?

    We offer a wide range of programmes and courses in business, marketing and economics. You can also study to obtain a law degree. Most of the courses and programmes on the bachelor level require you to be fluent in Swedish.

  • Natural science and mathematics

    What can I study?

    The University offers a wide range of courses and programmes within Natural Sciences. For all the programmes on the bachelor level, you need to be fluent in Swedish.

    In English

    What can I study?

    University of Gothenburg has some of Sweden's most reputable Programmes in Art, Design and Crafts. Except for BFA Programme in Metal Art and BFA Programme in Wood Oriented Furniture Design, the Bachelor Programmes requires you to be fluent in Swedish.

    What can I study?

    To study to become a teacher you need be fluent in Swedish.
    If you have a teaching degree from abroad, there is an opportunity to get additional training, which makes you qualified to teach in Sweden. It's called "Utländska Lärares Vidareutbildning".

    What can I study?

    A few programmes and courses require knowledge in Swedish but most offerings within the field of IT is offered in English.
