Computer Science

Computer science is the study of the theory of information and computation, and its implementation and application in computer systems. Computer science has many sub-fields; some emphasise the computation of specific results (such as computer graphics), while others (such as the theory of algorithms) relate to properties of computational problems. Still others focus on the challenges in implementing computations. In the area of Computer Science we offer cutting-edge higher education in a wide range of areas, including Software Engineering, the Science of Programming, Programming Languages, Algorithms, Program Analysis, Databases, Logical Methods, Verification, Dependability, Security, Distributed Computing, Data Communication, Digital Systems, Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics, and Interaction Design.
